t e s t p r e s s Drop Playful Club Anthem “SAUCY” via Polyamor

Glasgow Duo Deliver a Playful, Trance-Fueled Banger via Polyamor

Glasgow-based electronic duo t e s t p r e s s are turning heads once again with their electrifying new single “SAUCY”, released now on the genre-blurring label Polyamor. Known for their inventive, high-energy productions, the duo double down on dancefloor fun with a track that doesn’t take itself too seriously — and that’s exactly the point.

Pumping Tempos and Cheeky Energy on Polyamor

“SAUCY” is a high-octane, trance-tempo club weapon packed with rave-ready bleeps, claps, and euphoric drops. It’s a track that fizzes with irrepressible energy, capturing the playful chaos of the dancefloor and blending it with an irreverent, tongue-in-cheek twist.

At its heart, “SAUCY” is built around an initial vocal sketch by Berlin-based artist MCYL, renowned for his catchy vocals and genre-defying style. From there, t e s t p r e s s sculpted a sound that both nods to classic rave culture and feels completely fresh.

Speaking about the process, t e s t p r e s s said:

“Going into making the track, we really felt like we were finding our sound and style within the scene. We’ve worked with MCYL in the past and really enjoy making music and hanging out with him. We’re very like-minded creatively and we always have a lot of fun together in the studio or when we see each other at events.”

After receiving the vocal idea from MCYL, the duo felt something was missing. The solution? Introduce a second vocal character — a female protagonist — to create a more humorous, narrative-driven dialogue.

“We actually really liked how the demo sounded, so we didn’t even get another vocalist to re-record it,” the duo explained.
“The end result was a track that really encapsulates the style and energy we look to bring to the dancefloor: fun, sexy, silly.”

With “SAUCY,” t e s t p r e s s prove that club music can be both meticulously produced and joyfully unserious. It’s a celebration of collaboration, creativity, and not taking things too seriously — while still delivering a certified dancefloor filler.
