LDN Crashout is a fictional gang from London: four women bonded and strengthened by a pact of friendship and hidden rules. But instead of violence being their focus, style is weaponised, and attitude is the means for crushing the opps. The shoot represents the powerful creativity and diversity of the city.

Matthew Smith – About the photographer
I’m a fine art and fashion photographer, and a creative director, from London. This year my new photoseries Mila and the Storm was a winner at the London International Creative Competition 2023, and received an Honourable Mention at the Px3 Paris Prix de la Photographie 2024. My first series, Ascension, was recently shown at Torrance Art Museum, LA. It has been published as a photobook, Ascension (Red Turtle Photobook 2023). I have had solo exhibitions in Tokyo, Rome and Venice. My fashion photography has been published in numerous magazines, including Glitch, 1883, Lo’Ammi and Knuckle.
