Alice Vaillant, a Paris native, infuses her collections with her rich cultural roots and her background in dance, blending classic French elegance with contemporary and futuristic elements. A Vision Rooted in Dance and Design
Before she was making headlines in Vogue and Netflix, Alice Vaillant was immersed in the world of performance. She trained for over a decade at the Paris Opera Ballet School and spent seven years in a competitive sports study program. This duality—grace and strength—shapes her design DNA.
After her dance career, Alice earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design in Montreal and later a Master of Arts in Womenswear in Paris. Her path led her to work with iconic names such as Jean-Paul Gaultier and Nina Ricci, before launching her namesake brand. Her bold designs caught international attention, including two capsule collections with SSENSE in 2022 and becoming a two-time Pierre Bergé Andam Fashion Award finalist (2023 & 2024).
A Brand Celebrated Worldwide
VAILLANT’s handcrafted creations have already captivated global audiences and celebrities alike. Stars such as Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, Dua Lipa, Aya Nakamura, and Blackpink’s Lisa have embraced the brand’s unique blend of strength and sensuality.
In June 2024, Ashley Graham graced the Vogue World Runway in a custom VAILLANT gown, further solidifying the brand’s presence on the international stage. The label’s designs are also featured in Season 4 of Emily in Paris, now streaming on Netflix.
