JENN LEE is an inspiring Taiwanese brand founded by Wei-Chen Lee. Which seeks to liberate. But also empower women to follow their passion. And use their voices. To express their creativity and independence. The brand is often described as concept-driven and avant-garde-inspired. This label often shows interest in sustainable materials and upcycling fashion. It uses deconstruction and experimental designs to give it its edgy touch. JENN LEE often uses collaborations with different media to showcase the brand. Dance, visual art, sound. It’s all integrated into the shows and garments.
Their narrative is often dual. Combining rawness and brutal input with fragility. Mixing Eastern traditions with punk or more edgy, inspired elements. The brand is known for its delicate handwear and craft. But also pushing boundaries. The brand only releases one major collection per year. And collaborates with various artists and experiments with AI. Vogue has covered JENN LEE’s sustainable materials and experiments. And the brand is highlighted as a sustainable fashion brand. The brand is bold, edgy, pushing the narrative and identifying more as a movement than as a business. Now celebrating their 10th anniversary. And showcasing their major impact at London Fashion Week.
Celebrating ten years of boundary-pushing design, JENN LEE returned to London Fashion Week for the fifth consecutive year with a landmark anniversary showcase. Staged at Village Underground – an iconic nightlife venue and cultural hub that epitomises London’s subcultural energy – JENN LEE SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection revisited and reimagined some of the designer’s most emblematic creations from the past decade. This season, the collection draws inspiration from the 18th-century Eastern literary classic Dream of the Red Chamber, combining deconstructed design with philosophical aesthetics. This classical inspiration materialises in a deep admiration for East Asian traditions.
