S.A x ASICS: A Limited-Edition Debut Rooted in Movement and Mindfulness

S.A x ASICS marks the first project from Copenhagen-based designer Silas Adler under his new creative platform, S.A. Developed as part of ASICS SportStyle’s Crafts for Mind programme, the collaboration debuts a poetic reinterpretation of the GEL-KINETIC FLUENT™ sneaker during 3 Days of Design 2025.

Marking S.A’s first public project, the shoe is both object and narrative—an exploration of mindfulness through movement. Inspired by Adler’s quiet encounters with nature, the design recalls a house in the woods and its smallest cohabitants: ladybugs, leaves, and snakes. These symbols become metaphors for shared space and coexistence.

Visually, the shoe reflects this intimacy. A silver upper is detailed with ladybug prints, while the tongue is finished in imitation snake leather. The S.A x ASICS logo, merging both brands’ initials, appears on the packaging and shoe itself—presented with S.A-printed silk paper inside a classic ASICS box. A special Friends & Family edition appears in black.

Limited to just 50 pairs worldwide, the sneaker released exclusively at Rezet, Copenhagen, on June 21. 3 Days of Design hosted a dedicated installation at ‘other circle’.
The project marks a personal and professional shift for Adler, long known as co-founder of Soulland. With S.A, he steps into a space led by process, introspection, and narrative design. The ASICS collaboration is shaped by quiet moments—walking, observing, existing.
Beyond aesthetic value, a portion of proceeds supports Small Steps, a nonprofit working with youth in Tanzania through education and skateboarding. The gesture reinforces the project’s ethos: movement as care, craft as connection.
S.A marks a new path for Adler—one driven by process, intention, and independence. As with the best design, this isn’t just a product. It’s a point of view.
