Movimento, the new SS26 collection is an integral part of Dienée’s DNA. Understood as freedom, openness, and expression, it is a pillar of the brand’s philosophy and vision. For founder and designer Violetta Marzialetti, movement is the only means of continuous, personal, and aesthetic evolution in her work, but also the acronym for other words and, above all, other actions that permeate her creative journey: continuous, personal, and aesthetic evolution in her work, but also the acronym for other words. And, above all, other actions that permeate her creative journey: MOVE, OBSERVE, VOICE, INVESTIGATE, MEET, EVOLVE, NOTE, TASTE, OPEN.
At the presentation event, which will be held on September 23 during Milan Fashion Week as part of Lineapelle’s DESIGNER EDITION initiative, the concept of movement, in its acronymical sense, will become an invitation to look, listen, touch, and perceive. Movement is also the starting point for every collection: geometry, linearity, and minimalism of form are always accompanied by a constant dynamic search for these elements, expressed in the details and perspectives, but also in the lightness of the structures, carefully designed to give a feeling of freedom to those who wear a Dienèe model.
The minimalist, clean silhouettes of Dienèe embrace a new fluidity in this collection that continues to convey the brand’s aesthetic and vision, as well as its constant evolution. The brand introduces the maxi format with the new GATE bag, available in different leather variants, focusing on details and accessories that make the difference.
Alongside the iconic ARCO, launched during the previous MFW, is the new TOTE version—an extremely elegant silhouette with unexpected capacity, and a reinterpretation of the model as a handbag. With tapered teardrop handles and a retro allure, the new ROW model comes in four refined size variations.
Closing the collection is a new mini bag that is definitely for special occasions: the PEAK, perfectly geometric, just as the brand likes it. The color palette includes pastel blue and shades of brown, accompanied by butter and the ever-present python print, while the materials embrace new textures and finishes.
Movimento is both literal and symbolic. It reflects the continuous personal and aesthetic evolution that defines Marzialetti’s work, while also expanding into an acronym that embodies her creative ethos: MOVE, OBSERVE, VOICE, INVESTIGATE, MEET, EVOLVE, NOTE, TASTE, OPEN. Each word becomes an action, a gesture that shapes the brand’s dialogue with form, space, and individuality.
The scent of leather, fragments of the production process, the sounds around which the brand’s identity evolves, and the movement itself, under the artistic direction of Alessio Pomioli, will merge together in a single space, that of the Linea-pelle headquarters in Piazza Tommasi di Lampedusa, starting at 11:00 a.m. From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Paolo Gaudio will accompany the viewing of Diè-nee with his live set during an aperitif by L’altro Tramezzino and Cantine Fontezoppa.
