Berlin/London-based artist Ireen Amnes launches REVERSE, a new party series dedicated to women, trans, and non-binary artists within the underground techno scene. Conceived as more than a club night, the project proposes a shift in the traditional structure of nightlife — reconsidering who is centered, who feels safe, and how space is shared.

Through focused curation and intentional design, REVERSE aims to recalibrate power and visibility within club culture. Rather than simply diversifying line-ups, it seeks to question the underlying dynamics of representation and presence on the dancefloor.
The inaugural edition will take place at Säule on February 26, 2026. Säule, known for its intimate atmosphere and attentive audience, provides the ideal setting for REVERSE to explore a recalibrated club experience.

Italian sound artist Katatonic Silentio moves between abstraction and club functionality, weaving together ambient, dub, and techno while maintaining a strong research-based approach to sound.

San Francisco–raised, Berlin-based Chloe Lula merges her classical cello training with deep, atmospheric techno. A resident at Tresor, she also develops electroacoustic live performances alongside her club-focused productions.

Berlin-based DJ and curator Pooja B centers inclusion and care in her approach to nightlife. Rooted in Berlin techno yet shaped by a transnational background, she combines forward-facing club energy with ongoing community engagement.

Completing the line-up, Ireen Amnes continues her exploration of the leftfield edges of electronic music. Founder of the experimental label Under My Feet., she has released on Tresor Records, shaping a sound marked by distortion, melancholy, and deconstructed rhythms.
We caught up with Ireen Amnes, the force behind REVERSE, to talk about the project.
What was the initial impulse behind starting REVERSE?
It honestly started with a feeling. I wanted to experience a different kind of energy in the room.
I’ve been part of the scene for a long time, and even in spaces that talk about freedom, the structures can feel repetitive, especially in terms of who gets the spotlight. I started asking myself how it would feel if we shift the center… and when you change the focus, the whole vibe changes. The energy feels different, there is more softness, intimacy and care.
During Covid, I hosted several workshops for women, trans, and non-binary artists. I had the honour of meeting so many incredibly talented people who, in my opinion, deserve far more visibility and support. At the same time, the industry has become increasingly focused on numbers and image, which makes it harder for emerging artists to break through (it is hard pretty much for everyone at the moment).
I hope REVERSE becomes a place where discovery truly matters. A place where music and talent come first, not Instagram followers.
I also didn’t want it to exist for just one night and disappear. That’s why we’re starting workshops at Schneiderskeller in London, with dates and guests to be announced soon. Education is important to me so I felt the need to at least try creating a space for learning, sharing skills, and building confidence.
Why did Säule feel like the right place to premiere this project?
Säule has this really special atmosphere. Beside being a beautiful space, it feels intimate, and people actually come there to listen.
For a project like REVERSE, which is about subtle shifts in energy and structure, that felt like the perfect starting point.
If you could describe this night in one feeling or word, what would it be?
I would use the word ‘Warm’
