Madomorpho Escapes to The Resort for Spring/Summer 2026

For Spring/Summer 2026, Berlin-based label Madomorpho takes us somewhere warmer. Titled The Resort, the collection looks back to the glamour and eccentricity of 1970s coastal escapes, imagining the sun-drenched atmosphere of Saint-Tropez, Capri and Mustique through the brand’s unmistakably theatrical perspective.

Presented as part of the official Berlin Fashion Week schedule, The Resort moves between relaxed holiday dressing and unapologetic sensuality. Nautical references appear throughout, but in Madomorpho’s world, a seaside wardrobe is anything but conventional.

A 1970s Summer Fantasy

The collection plays with the contrast between tomboyish ease and feminine sensuality. Madomorpho’s signature Dreamers set returns in evening blue, copper, sage and white pearl, alongside linen sailor dungarees, micro-knotted bras and a bias-cut jumpsuit finished with a quilted tassel belt.

Elsewhere, holiday dressing becomes more intimate. Vintage lace-trimmed lingerie, bloomer shorts and light morning robes blur the line between underwear and outerwear, creating looks that feel effortless while still carrying the collection’s sense of extravagance.

The mood becomes increasingly dramatic with a pale blue, hand-painted corset cocktail dress, structured corset tops and sharply tailored keyhole vests. Maritime references continue through seashell accessories and reach their most playful point in the final look: silk mini shorts, a shell-embroidered hat and an antique steering wheel.

Madomorpho Expands Its World

Spring/Summer 2026 also marks a new chapter for the label with the introduction of bags. The Madomorpho Cruiser Bag can transform between a shoulder bag, handbag and crossbody, combining calf hair and leather with a brass monogram closure and Spanish tassel.

The brand also introduces Ballet Flats, offering a more wearable interpretation of its signature footwear while maintaining Madomorpho’s distinctive visual language.

Fashion Built Through Storytelling

Founded by Emma Postma and Saga Peterson, Madomorpho approaches fashion through nostalgia, craftsmanship and storytelling. Antique markets and archival materials often become starting points for the designers, who source vintage fabrics, lace, hardware and found objects before building each collection into its own imagined world.

That approach is also connected to the brand’s stance against overconsumption. Garments are produced in-house in small quantities or made to order, while much of the collection uses deadstock silks and virgin wools, with pieces hand-dyed in the studio.

With The Resort, Madomorpho turns summer dressing into something cinematic, sensual and slightly surreal. Rather than simply looking back at the glamour of another era, the collection transforms it into a fantasy of its own — one filled with nostalgia, freedom and a generous dose of camp.
