Cinettica Fashion & Art Film Festival — Tokyo Premiere

For its 7th edition, Cinettica lands in Tokyo for the very first time. Known for its anarchic elegance and a cinematic lens on underground fashion culture, the one-night festival takes over iconic Club HVEN on June 21st from dusk till dawn—fusing fashion, performance, art, and sound in a hypnotic 12-hour programme.

Cinettica programme June 21st 2025
Rooted in their rebellious aesthetic, Cinettica doesn’t follow trends—it builds an ecosystem. Think latex and lace. Digital ghosts and street noise. Each edition a living archive of fashion’s fringe.
A global line-up of independent designers brings visceral textures and bold, experimental forms to Tokyo’s runway.

On the runway, Berlin-based Selva will present a collection forged from repurposed car parts—part armor, part architecture. Already worn by FKA Twigs, Lady Gaga, and Jared Leto, Selva’s Tokyo debut promises an uncompromising visual statement rooted in material aggression.

Omi Omi

A Tokyo label born from hyperfemininity and digital subculture, creates a dream-coded visual language. Expect puffy silhouettes, surreal details, and looks that flicker between softness and defiance.

Chany Maria

One of Berlin’s most exciting names, brings constructed elegance with sharp tailoring and sculptural edge. Her work merges post-club futurism with a clean, commanding presence.

And then, Shimon — Tokyo native and artwear futurist

The Tokyo-based label by Shimon Kobayashi, channels a distinctly otherworldly energy. Known for conceptual silhouettes that blur the line between body and environment, the upcoming presentation leans toward the alien and the sculptural—less runway, more portal.

Also featured: the raw fire of Aurora Niño de Rivera and the precise, poetic constructions of Ocearf—each adding their own signature to a night of fashion without filters.

Performance as Ritual and Rupture

Beyond the runway, the night pulses with live acts and interventions:
Lamarka (NYC) premieres a fashion performance merging cinematic tension and sculptural motion.
Lith Li, the night’s official house DJ, takes the floor with latex-clad chaos and industrial beats.
Ariseikatsu will deliver a genre-defying set blending surreal visuals with ritual performance—Tokyo’s experimental edge at its sharpest.

Fashion Films

A curated series of radical fashion films fractures and reconstructs the narrative of style — “a visceral glimpse into the evolving language of fashion cinema.

From 11PM to 5AM, Tokyo’s experimental underground takes the reins:
Panicworks, Koshiro, and Mother of 2 deliver relentless rhythm across HVEN’s raw interior.
Curated by Roses and Castles, the on-site exhibition features projection, VR, and photography by artists including feel_good.img, Richard Lee, and DMC. It adds a quiet contrast to the night’s full-tilt energy.

A singular collision of style, sound, and subculture, Cinettica Tokyo invites you to step outside the algorithm and into the chaos. If you know, you know. If you don’t, you’re already late.

Cinettica is not Fashion Week — It’s future memory
