Tell the Truth Debuts CULT at Berlin Fashion Week

The LA-founded luxury label, Tell the Truth, presented its SS26 collection CULT at Berlin Fashion Week.

Tell the Truth has been steadily building a fanbase and causing conversation for the past four years. The brand has had showcases throughout LA and New York, and shows at London and Berlin Fashion Week. It is heavily inspired by the raw, edgy subcultures that make up both LA and Berlin, which could be seen in its latest collection.

The brand aligns with a certain sense of rebellion, destruction and rebirth, and evocative storytelling. These influences, and Tell The Truth’s last showcase in London, led to descriptions of the brand as a cult. This season, they took that label and ran with it, in a joyous, provocative show of confidence in the brand’s vision.

The collection prioritized sustainability, using eco-conscious materials such as vegan leather, and not shying away from an upcycled aesthetic.

Grays, reds, and blacks built out the color story, while metallic accessories and textures added depth. The collection was largely unisex, pushing layered, baggy silhouettes.

Ultimately the collection fused high fashion with an underground ruggedness. The brand stirs up excitement for the future of fashion, in its apt way of merging different worlds and all the while prioritizing sustainability.
