Berlin-based jewelry designer Johanna Gauder marks a decade of sustainable design with the launch of Collection #8. A set of sculptural, minimal, and strikingly architectural pieces reflect the clean material language of her newly redesigned studio.

Developed in close collaboration with designer Christoph Hauf, the studio and the jewelry engage in aesthetic dialogue. Each echoes the other’s formal sensibilities and material restraint.

Collection #8 consists of 17 pieces — including rings, earrings, bracelets, and brooches — handcrafted from recycled silver and gold in Gauder’s Berlin workshop.

For the first time, the designer incorporates gemstones, adding pavé-set diamonds to select rings.

As always, sustainability is at the core. Every element, from metals to studio furnishings, follows a thoughtful lifecycle, reflecting Gauder’s longstanding commitment to circular design.

Following the February unveiling of her reimagined Neukölln studio space at Schillerpromenade 14, Collection #8 becomes the second major highlight of Gauder’s 10th anniversary year.

The space, created with Studio Christoph Hauf, doubles as showroom and site of creative exchange. Materials used in its construction include untreated aluminum, Douglas fir, glass, and recycled textiles. The furniture within, designed specifically for the studio, shares a visual lineage with the jewelry: clean lines, exposed structure, and raw finishes that honor their material origins.

This collection is more than adornment — it is a tactile reflection of process, form, and space. Jewelry here acts as a spatial intervention, translating architecture into wearable sculpture.

With Collection #8, Johanna Gauder continues to define what a sustainable design practice can look like — honest, deliberate, and exquisitely crafted.
