Seefashion25 Highlights Emerging Designers

As part of seefashion25, the Department of Fashion Design at Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin is presenting 28 final collections by Bachelor’s and Master’s students. Together, they create a collective statement of creativity and experimentation, capturing the diverse voices shaping Berlin’s next generation of designers.

This year’s Seefashion25 takes the form of a ‘shared journey’ — each designer revealing a personal perspective on fashion’s meaning, design, and future.

Fashion as Art, Politics, and Protest

Art and cultural funding in Germany is being cut. Seefashion25 responds with more than just fashion.

The show becomes a collective act of resilience, creativity, and defiance, 28 emerging designers use their collections to challenge the political disregard for the arts.

Each collection highlights the need for creative education, sustainable production, and independent voices in Berlin fashion. Designs feature experimental silhouettes, conceptual storytelling, and innovative materials.

These works show that Berlin’s graduate fashion is not only beautiful. It also sparks conversations, activism, and cultural change. Seefashion25 proves that clothing can be self-expression, protest, and progress — all at once.
