Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 – the countdown starts now

Amsterdam dance event 2025 is around the corner, and the program is complete. With artists including Amelie Lens, Angel D’Lite, Charlotte de Witte, KI/KI, Konduku, Peach, Skee Mask, Vintage Culture, Yazzus, and countless others joining the lineup, this year brings together every corner of electronic music, from mainstage icons to underground innovators. 3,300+ artists, 1,200+ events, 300+ venues, one shared love. The expansive program spans the ADE FestivalArts & Culture, and Friends series, solidifying ADE 2025 as the most ambitious edition yet.

One of this year’s ADE themes, Sound System Culture, actively spreads a message of hope. One of community and selflessness, sharing, and kindness, and people coming together under a set of speakers. From the 22nd of October until the 26th. ADE lab offers you the opportunity to showcase your talent. Show your latest track and get instant feedback from many music industry experts! The feedback is live with one winner. And 2 runners-up taking home cutting edge equipment from high end brands in the industry! Or hangout at the culture hub, where music and sound installations are used as a protest against what the world has become. Where kindness and love are highly supported. Powered by Ketha Etiopia sound system. Which has always embodied this spirit.

The final wave of additions includes some of the most influential and forward-thinking names in global electronic music: Actress, Adam Beyer, AfroSalto (Afrojack x Gregor Salto), Amelie Lens, ANNA, ANOTR, Charlotte de Witte, DBN Gogo, GiGi FM, Honey Dijon, Jyoty, KI/KI, Major League DJz, Nicole Moudaber, Pan-Pot, Partiboi69, Skee Mask, Skepta, TxC, and Vintage Culture, among many others.

In total, ADE 2025 will showcase a vibrant cross-section of global sounds and scenes, from underground techno and Afro house to hyperpop, amapiano, and genre-defying live performances. The full lineup and schedule are available now on the ADE website.

At the LAB village this year, as a part of the art and cultures program. You can find Cris Mollee’s installation. Human figures diffused, transforming visitors into shapeshifting avatars through algorithms that see bodies only as variables. Working with AI, algorithms, electronic music and the human body reveals an interesting experience for all to se. All events are equally iconic, but Amsterdam’s stunning architecture will take center stage! For a variety of happenings all over the city. This year brings several firsts for the event. De Nieuwe Kerk, one of Amsterdam’s most iconic historic buildings, will become a stage for electronic music for the first time ever — with Honey Dijon and the ZO! Gospel Choir headlining a performance that bridges spirituality and club culture.

The Planetarium at Amsterdam’s ARTIS Zoo will host a series of immersive full-dome concerts and screenings, blending sound and cosmic visuals. Meanwhile, Fabrique des Lumières will feature Stewww, a multi-sensory fusion of music and projection art.

ADE 2025 will open with six ADE Opening Specials on Wednesday, October 22, taking place simultaneously at Felix MeritisARTIS PlanetariumDoor Open SpaceZuiderkerkVan Gogh Museum, and Melkweg — a testament to ADE’s deep integration across Amsterdam’s cultural fabric.

It is undeniable that Amsterdam is an iconic dance music city, with history at every corner and street. And the best way to get to Amsterdam’s venues: GVB, which has been getting dancers to their destinations for 125 years, from iT to the Roxy, to Escape, and to the coolest clubs and Conference Hubs shaping this year’s ADE. Beyond the festival, the ADE Pro Conference continues to be the global hub for industry dialogue and innovation.
