A Global Invitation to Take Your Soul Beyond Gravity
Corsican producer and live performer PETRU KSS announces the Kolibri Live Remix Contest, a global creative initiative launched in collaboration with Kolibri Space Shuttle Records. The contest invites producers worldwide to reinterpret a track from PETRU’s forthcoming debut album Kolibri Live LP, set for release in early 2026.
Supported by Novation, Dreadbox, Genki Instruments, and Audiorealism, the competition will reward selected remixes with professional music gear and software.
Running alongside the official Kolibri Live release, which will feature remixes by Dubfire, .VRIL, Ryan Davis, An On Bast, Arnaud Le Texier, Tobias., and Joton, the contest continues PETRU’s exploration of live electronic expression, a key theme in both his artistic work and his ongoing PhD research on improvisation and performance.
Rooted in the same spirit as the Kolibri Live LP — recorded live in the wilderness of Corsica — the remix contest celebrates human creativity, spontaneity, and imperfection at a time when AI increasingly shapes modern music production.
