Who are we when no one is watching? SF1OG AW26 at Berlin Fashion Week

At Berlin Fashion Week, SF1OG unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection—an introspective exploration of hiding, protection, and partial revelation. The collection asks the questions: Who are we when no one is watching? What do we conceal when we believe all eyes have turned away, and what still slips through?
SF1OG approaches this theme through layered references that move between contemporary culture, personal memory, and historical ritual. One key point of departure is late-2000s paparazzi imagery. Photographs of figures like Amy Winehouse, Lindsay Lohan, and Adam Sandler capture moments of exhaustion and vulnerability not meant for public view. These images feel intrusive, yet magnetic. The unease of looking becomes part of the story, exposing a collective desire to witness fragility.
Hair, developed in collaboration with Oribe, recalls late-2000s side bangs—imperfect, undone, and quietly rebellious. Makeup by MAC Cosmetics is bold and unapologetic: deep, smoldering eyes that nearly conceal the gaze, or a defiant red lip worn by a boy.
The show took place at SAVVY Contemporary, where a circular installation inspired by the 19th-century Kaiserpanorama became the focal point. Models orbited the structure as water spilled continuously from integrated sinks, reinforcing themes of observation and longing. The soundtrack, composed by Gavriel August, opened with a poem by Tim Gienke. This set an intimate and unsettled tone for the show.
