Respected live techno artist and Noetic imprint owner David Castellani has announced a US run of label showcases set to take place across Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago and St. Petersburg (FL) between late February and mid-March.
Centered on fully improvised, hardware-only live techno, the Noetic showcases highlight Castellani’s commitment to dissolving the line between performer and audience. “The goal with Noetic is to dissolve the line between performer and crowd — placing everyone inside the system rather than watching it from a distance,” he explains.

A key highlight of the tour will be a rare collaborative performance from Sterac and Lady Starlight, who will debut a fully improvised 100% live hardware jam at the Los Angeles, Chicago and Phoenix dates, promising a unique and unrepeatable experience each night. MAEDON, the Baltimore-born, Berlin-based Tresor resident, joins the Chicago, Phoenix and St. Petersburg stops with her dense, driving and hardware-focused live sets.

Additional artists across the tour include live acts Komprezzor, known for his dark, machine-driven Chicago techno; Trovarsi, who blends analogue synths, modular and drum machines for hybrid live sets; and Sleepy Cat, a Los Angeles-based underground house and techno performer, alongside DJs such as Dzenan, a groove-focused DJ and founder of the Fader series; GERSH, a key member of Phoenix’s Departures crew; and Brittney Vandal a Lisbon-based hypnotic techno DJ and poet.
Continuing his commitment to nurturing emerging producers, Castellani will host a free modular workshop alongside the St. Petersburg event. The upcoming series follows last October’s Noetic showcase during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), as well as a 2024 Los Angeles edition featuring Hiroko Yamamura and Ken Ishii.
Founded in 2021, Noetic serves as Castellani’s platform for hardware-focused, future-facing techno, further expanding its vision with this US tour.
