NECHTO Records, founded by Nastia, introduces a powerful new release from DJ Dextro—his first appearance on the label.
The six-track project includes one collaboration with producer Cardao, and showcases Dextro’s signature approach: energetic, structured, and rhythm-driven.
This release is the result of a connection that developed over time. After years of Nastia supporting Dextro’s tracks in her sets, the two finally crossed paths during a shared event in Lisbon in 2023. From that moment, a conversation emerged—eventually leading to this collaborative EP.
Premiere Track: “Sleep Bias”
Among the six tracks, “Sleep Bias” stands out as a reflection of Dextro’s creative process, which draws from both spontaneous ideas and everyday observations. According to Dextro, his track titles often capture his current state of mind or events happening around him—sometimes personal, other times purely random. “Sleep Bias” sits comfortably within this context, built on the foundation of his rhythmic and focused sound.
Dextro’s new work goes beyond club functionality. The tracks are shaped by themes ranging from daily life and society to science and the unknown. The result is a body of work that feels intentional yet unforced—rooted in experience, thought, and instinct.
With a long-standing presence in the scene, DJ Dextro brings decades of experience to this release.
He began learning the art of DJing in 1991 and has developed a unique musical perspective through over 15 years of club residencies. As a producer, he launched the Redkone project in 2002 and has since released numerous tracks across labels such as Missile, Mutual Rytm, CLR, Second State, Suara, Uncage, Illegal Alien, We Are The Brave, Matéria, KD Raw, BEK Audio, Tronic, HotFlush, Terminal M, Planet Rhythm, Sleaze, Odd, Toolroom, Nervous, Stereo, and many more.
Over the past 20 years, he has performed globally and officially remixed artists including The Advent, Gez Varley, Damon Wild, Tim Taylor, Inigo Kennedy, Christian Smith, George Morel, Scuba, Chus & Ceballos, Joe T Vannelli, Richie Santana, Ron Costa, Axel Karakasis, Lex Gorrie, Drumcomplex, Insolate, Skober, Cristian Varela, A.Paul, Mendo, and others.
