For Resort 2026, New York label ALIX OF BOHEMIA fuses Klimtian opulence with its signature bohemian attitude. Titled Nocturne Doré (“Golden Nocturne”), the collection is a study in contrast: graphic black-and-white prints, luminous golds, and symbolic embroidery appear across relaxed yet deliberate silhouettes. As ever, designer Alix Pietrafesa balances richness with irreverence, channeling the brand’s 1970s rock-and-roll influence into something quietly theatrical.
“I wanted to stay true to the spirit of the seventies,” Pietrafesa explains. “Instead of leaning into delicacy or romance, Nocturne Doré tempers its ornamentation with a sense of attitude and irreverence.”

The result is a confident, tactile collection of contrast and craft. Graphic black-and-white patterns clash with luminous gold. Birds, horses, and Art Nouveau florals appear across flowing tunics, tailored coats, and embroidered waistcoats. These recurring motifs — symbols of freedom, femininity, and movement — ground the collection in a modern take on bohemianism.

Craft remains central to the brand’s identity. Each piece is handmade by artisans across India, Guatemala, Portugal, and the U.S., using techniques like hand-looming, block-printing, and fil coupé weaving. This global intimacy gives the collection a tactile depth — visible not only in the textiles, but in the way the garments hang and move.

Presented sunlit and unscripted in the lookbook, Nocturne Doré feels like a lived-in fantasy. It is less about nostalgia and more about attitude. ALIX OF BOHEMIA Resort 2026 collection continues their commitment to thoughtful excess — rich in surface, bold in spirit.

Nocturne Doré will be available from November 2025 at global retailers including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Net-a-Porter, as well as at alixofbohemia.com.
