‘Digital Suspiria: The Game’ Expands Vexillary’s Album Universe Into Interactive Experience

Digital Suspiria: The Game, an interactive video game expanding the world of Vexillary’s full-length album Digital Suspiria (released March 20, 2026), will be released on June 26.

The game expands the album’s universe into a playable interactive environment, translating its conceptual and sonic world into gameplay-driven experiences.

Developed by con:trace (Interactive Studio), with artwork by Martin Bottger, the project is structured around three distinct modes.
Digital Suspiria Melee: Cyberpunk-inspired hack-and-slash mode set in a neon digital world, where players battle waves of humanoid synths in fast-paced melee combat.
Actor Bahn Racer: A retro-futuristic racing mode where players pilot a starship through a cybernetic circuit, avoiding barriers and enemy interference at high speed.
Digital Kill Shot: A third-person shooter set on a hostile digital battlefield, featuring intense combat against evolving humanoid synths and cybernetic weapon systems.
Creative direction and production are led by Reza Seirafi, who oversees the overall vision across both gameplay and world design. The music is provided under the Vexillary moniker, the artist project of Reza Seirafi, forming the sonic and atmospheric layer of the experience.
The album Digital Suspiria is described as a sonic world combining technoid energy, cybernetic sheen, and occult undertones. Its sound moves between raw textures and precisely programmed elements, tracing a progression from the artist’s EBM roots toward a sleeker and more unfamiliar direction. The album builds a distinct aesthetic through tense and emotionally volatile sonic structures.
