Tresor Records expands Its ANNEX series with a 28-Track compilation
Tresor Records has marked the end of the year by reviving its ANNEX series with a major 28-track compilation, ‘ANNEX’, now fully released. True to the meaning of its name—‘annex’ as an extension—this project adds a new layer to the label and club’s existing activity, expanding the creative ecosystem that has flourished at Köpenicker Str. 70 over the years.
Since moving to the Kraftwerk complex in 2007, the space has evolved from its original function as a power station to a multi-purpose hub: offices, venue, club, exhibition space, and home to the Berlin Atonal Festival, Tresor Foundation, and the Academy of Subcultural Understanding. With the addition of the Hard Wax record shop in 2023, the building has gained yet another way for like-minded individuals to come together and share ideas.
ANNEX reflects these layered roles by fostering introduction, connection, and creation. All music in the compilation was created by individuals directly linked to Tresor, including club staff, resident DJs, Hard Wax employees, and long-time friends. The project unites artists across generations and backgrounds, producing a moment in motion that captures Tresor’s energy as it moves into a new year.
The full 28-track compilation was released in two parts, with the first 14 tracks available for preorder on 28 November 2025 and the remaining 14 tracks released on 5 December 2025, making all tracks now available.
The compilation features key artists such as Lady Starlight, Endrew, Substance, Shed, UFO95, Maoupa Mazzocchetti, IMOGEN, Chloe Lula, Mython & Jonas Xenon and many more, showcasing both established names and emerging talent within the Tresor community. These tracks highlight the diversity and depth of the label while reflecting the collaborative spirit that has defined its history.
More than just a compilation, ANNEX serves as a platform to celebrate the culture of introduction, connection, and creation at Tresor. Its release marks a significant moment in the label’s ongoing journey and a glimpse of the creative paths Tresor will continue to explore in the years ahead.
