On 27 December 2025 Quantum Gallery Berlin opened its doors for a new KEYI Studio Exhibition.Ā The event marked an ambitious fusion of visual art and electronic music culture that reflects the cityās role as a global creative hub.

The exhibition “Behind the Bass Line” features portraits of some of the most important figures in the electronic music scene, connected to the club and beyond. The exhibition will be presented worldwide in selected locations. It started with one of the worldās oldest techno clubs ā Tresor ā within its legendary tunnel, which has never before been adapted as an exhibition space. From there, it moved to a pulse-pounding gallery in the center āWhat is happening hereā during the Amsterdam Dance Event and beyond. Now the exhibition is heading toĀ BBCB in Seoul, South Korea. There, it enters a more club-oriented space, closer to where many of the featured artists actually perform.

The portraits include Shao, Ellen Allien, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Monika Kruse, DJ Hell, Chloe Lula, Zanias, Kris Baha, Dave Clarke, Max Durante, Nastia, Marcel Dettmann, Shubostar, The Hacker & Kittin, Veronica Vasicka, Helena Hauff, Tommy Four Seven, Bloody Mary, Rebekah, Peaches, Lady Starlight, Maedon, David Castellani and more. Each exhibition is one of a kind. Presenting a unique selection of artworks that resonate with the location in which it is shown.

Located in the heart of Berlinās contemporary art district, Quantum Gallery provides a fitting backdrop for the exhibitionās innovative spirit. The gallery focuses on cutting-edge contemporary art. This made it the perfect partner for a project that merges visual art and music culture.
