Click † Click’s new EP, Strassen EP, drops on March 5 via BPitch Berlin, bringing the raw pulse of Berlin’s underground to the forefront. The four-track release delivers a focused and uncompromising sound shaped by years of club experience and studio work.
Across four tracks, Strassen EP explores repetition and tension as central forces, reflecting Berlin’s raw industrial character. Rather than softening its edges, the release leans into physicality and immersion, capturing the uncompromising spirit that defines the city’s underground.
We spoke with the artist about the ideas behind the premiere track “UFOs at Griessmühle” from his new release

“UFOs at Griessmühle” is an interesting name! Can you tell us a bit about the track?
“UFOs at Griessmühle” is a break-driven techno track built around a sharp, catchy acid bassline that really slices through the groove. I wanted it to feel driving but playful at the same time, so the breaks give it that restless momentum while the acid line keeps it hypnotic and direct.
The alien-themed vocals about UFOs and extraterrestrial crafts add a slightly surreal layer to the track. They’re a nod to that sense of otherworldliness you sometimes feel on a dancefoor late at night or during a whole weekender, when everything starts to blur into something almost cosmic. At the same time, the track is a tribute to the raw underground spirit of Berlin’s Griessmühle, which closed in 2020. It’s about capturing that uncompromising, DIY energy the club stood for and channeling it into something that feels both nostalgic and forward-moving.



How does Berlin’s underground culture infuence your music and creative process today?
Berlin’s underground culture is still a huge infuence on both my music and the way I approach the creative process. What inspires me most is the openness – musically, socially, and emotionally. There’s space for experimentation, for excess, for queerness, for pushing boundaries without over-explaining yourself. That freedom shapes how I produce: I don’t want the tracks to feel polished for the sake of it, but alive and a little unpredictable.
The no-photo policy in many clubs also plays a role. It creates this protected space where people can fully let go, and that raw, unfltered energy is something I try to translate into my sound. The industrial atmosphere of many venues – the rough textures, the darkness, the physicality – defnitely seeps into my production choices.
When I’m in the studio, I often imagine how a track would function on specifc underground dancefoors. I picture the sound system, the room, the crowd at peak time or early morning. That mental image guides my decisions – whether something needs to hit harder, stretch longer, or create more tension. In that sense, Berlin’s underground isn’t just an infuence; it’s almost like an invisible collaborator in the process.

What part of Berlin did you want to showcase with this track?
With this track, I wanted to showcase the raw, unfltered side of Berlin – the underground, the nightlife, the techno clubs where weekends feel like they never really end. There’s something special about that suspended sense of time, where Friday night can blur straight into Monday morning and the outside world almost disappears. I tried to capture that intensity and that feeling of total immersion.
At the same time, I wanted to refect the rougher, less polished edges of the city – the openness, the multicultural energy, the artistic freedom that defnes so many spaces here. For me, clubs are also safe spaces: places where people can express themselves freely, explore their identities, and feel accepted without judgment. That sense of protection and collective respect is a huge part of Berlin’s culture, and it deeply infuences how I think about music and dancefoors.
Berlin’s underground isn’t just about sound; it’s about community and crossing boundaries. And that spirit doesn’t stop at the city limits – it connects to scenes and people far beyond Berlin, across diferent countries and cultures. The track is my way of translating that shared, borderless energy into sound.
