We Are Not Alone returns to RSO on May 1st for a Mayday weekender running through to Monday morning. The four-day program unfolds across ROBUS, SUMME, and OPAN, presenting a continuous exploration of underground electronic music. Each floor develops its own identity while remaining part of a unified club experience.
Friday marks the opening of We Are Not Alone, beginning first with OPAN’s open air daytime program.
Starting in daylight, the outdoor stage sets a contrasting tone to the indoor floors, featuring artists such as Helena Hauff, Ellen Allien b2b Salome and others from the wider lineup. As the day transitions into night, ROBUS opens with Nene H, immediately establishing a high intensity atmosphere before moving through Volvox, Adriana Lopez, and Lilith., building a raw and driving foundation. SUMME also launches its We Are Not Alone program on Friday with Woody92, Bjarki and DJ Europarking introducing a fast paced and experimental club direction from the start.
Saturday sees the weekend expand across all three floors.
OPAN returns in the daytime, featuring artists such as Spekki Webu and AADJA, continuing its open air focus and offering a wide ranging sonic palette. ROBUS builds further intensity with ALI3N before moving into extended, hypnotic sets from Matrixxman, Rebecca Delle Piane, and Xiorro. SUMME develops its program with JEANS pushing the sound into more unpredictable territory, while Vel and Ellen Allien carries the energy into the night.
Sunday represents the peak and closing arc of the weekend.
OPAN once again opens in the daytime with BAILEY IBBS, ÜBERKIKZ, and additional artists contributing to its open air structure and wide spectrum of sound. ROBUS moves through its final progression with Henning Baer and Tigerhead delivering a heavy, industrial focused conclusion.
By Monday morning, We Are Not Alone concludes not as a sequence of separate events but as a continuous immersive environment. Across ROBUS, SUMME, and OPAN, the weekend forms a unified structure shaped by contrast, endurance, and progression. Under Ellen Allien’s vision, We Are Not Alone becomes a sustained exploration of contemporary club culture that moves fluidly between intensity and openness.
