HADERLUMP’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, ATRIUM, takes its name from the architectural heart of the ancient Roman house, a central court that draws light and nature into the building’s core. For Creative Director Johann Ehrhardt, ATRIUM also serves as a personal homage to his time training as a waiter at the Park Inn, a formative chapter shaped by relentless routines and rigid hierarchies.

The collection encompasses 28 characters, each with a distinct backstory, including the concierge, the bellman and a nightwanderer wrapped in a fleeting blanket. Inspired by the uniforms of hotel staff and guests in the 1930s, the collection examines the social dynamics of these spaces, where status and the quiet alienation of people who cross paths daily without ever meeting exists.

Accessories include broad belts with metal hardware, gaiters worn over footwear and handbags with cord straps. The collection also debuts two leather boot styles created in collaboration with footwear designer Matthias Winkler.

The ATRIUM show took place in the Grand Palais Room of Hotel Adlon Kempinski, overlooking Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate, presented to 400 guests.

HADERLUMP works with waxed denim, crushed cotton twill and hand-painted prints to form the foundation of the collection. Frayed edges return to this collection, sitting alongside purple jacquard, while traditional fabrics meet contemporary silhouettes. Architectural details from hotel objects influence the collection throughout, such as silver cutlery and keys becoming a recurring design motif.
