From 3 to 6 July 2026, THIRD EYE FESTIVAL transformed the unique spot in the middle of the forest near Berlin into a three-day world of hypnotic sound, visual experimentation and collective experience. Bringing together a powerful lineup including DJ Nobu, Erika, D-Leria, Decoder, Kangding Ray, Cio D’Or, Simone Bauer and many more, the festival moved between techno, deep techno, ambient and experimental live performances.

More than just a dancefloor, THIRD EYE created a unique gathering where projection mapping, light installations, visual art, collective painting and sound ceremonies became part of the experience. Surrounded by nature and connected through music, camping and a shared sense of exploration, the 2026 edition offered an immersive escape into sound – from Friday afternoon until the final moments on Monday.

We spoke with Dana Nada, DJ and co-organiser of THIRD EYE FESTIVAL…
…who became even more involved in the festival’s second edition after taking part in its first chapter. Alongside his own DJ set, he supported artist management, bookings and transportation behind the scenes.
Having grown up in Goa and spent 23 years living in Japan, Dana brings a strong international perspective to his work. Her passion for Japanese techno was also reflected in this year’s programme, with three Japanese artists joining the festival lineup.
His own set followed the same spontaneous spirit. Starting deep and trippy, Dana gradually built the energy towards a more melodic and emotional ending.

DECODER – SOUNDTRACKING THE SUNSET
Decoder, also known as Gautham, brought his minimalist approach to techno to the festival’s sunset hours. Performing from 8 PM to 10 PM, he approached the set without a fixed plan, responding instead to the changing atmosphere around him.
For Decoder, performing outdoors is very different from playing in a club. In a forest, the surroundings become part of the experience – almost like soundtracking a film in real time.
As daylight disappeared, he used the moment to play a track from his latest album that he rarely includes in his sets, showing how much the environment can influence the music.

Before her set, Erika spoke about the unique experience of playing in a forest at sunset.
Originally from Detroit and now splitting her time between Detroit and Berlin, she also prefers to respond to the moment rather than follow a prepared set.
For Erika, the connection between the audience and nature was central to the experience. With the crowd close to the booth and surrounded by trees, the performance created what she described as a feeling of unity between people, music and the environment.

MORE THAN A FESTIVAL
Through our conversations with artists, organisers and visitors, one thing became clear: THIRD EYE FESTIVAL was about much more than the lineup.

The forest was not simply a backdrop. It became part of the music, influencing the artists, the atmosphere and the energy of the crowd.

THIRD EYE FESTIVAL 2026 offered a weekend where deep sound, nature and spontaneous connection came together in one shared experience for 3 days.

A weekend of deep frequencies, open minds and unforgettable energy. THIRD EYE FESTIVAL once again proved that the most powerful experiences happen when music, art and community meet in the same space. It brought music, nature and community together for an immersive weekend at OAKYARD GROUNDS. Surrounded by the forest, the festival created a space where the environment merged with the music itself.
