AVA London has announced further additions to its 2026 programme, with FLOHIO, Jamz Supernova, Fabio & Grooverider, Footsie, Shy One, Elkka, Nadine Noor, Tim & Barry, Optimo, Skin On Skin, Bitter Babe, Blawan, Mala, Evian Christ and Holly Lester among the newly announced names.
Taking place from 24 to 26 September, this year’s edition is centred around the theme ‘Beyond Boundaries’, bringing together music, creativity, culture and visual art across three days and nights. The conference programme will include more than 70 speakers and 30 sessions, with discussions covering music culture, nightlife and the wider music industry.
Among the newly announced sessions is ‘Black is a Spectrum’, presented by East Bank and focused on The Music Is Black Festival. Footsie, Jamz Supernova, FLOHIO and Shy One will join host Gillian Jackson to discuss the breadth of Black musical culture, including queer artists, sound system culture, women shaping the industry, emerging talent and musical lineage.
The programme will also mark 25 years of Tim & Barry through a live No Tags podcast with Chal Ravens and Tom Lea. The session will look at their work documenting London’s underground scenes and the visual language of UK music culture, including their Just Jam livestream and the footwork documentary I’m Tryna Tell Ya. Fabio & Grooverider will join the programme for a keynote interview covering more than 30 years of drum & bass and their continued work in 2026.
Nightlife will remain a central part of the weekend, with events taking place at FOLD, Outernet Live and EartH.
On Friday, 25 September, AVA London x RA25 at Outernet Live will feature Blawan Live, Mala and Bitter Babe Live AV with Koch.a and AliA. At FOLD, Optimo, a special guest, Swoose, Holly Lester, Body Clinic and JWY will appear. The following night at EartH Hall Dalston, AVA London x Stay On Sight will bring together Skin On Skin, Evian Christ, Croatian Amor and mi-el.
Other sessions will focus on the future of queer nightlife, international nightlife, music licensing in gaming, music publishing and the development of the next generation of promoters. ‘Queer Nightlife Beyond Crisis: Who Builds the Future?’, presented by Time Out x Gay Times, will feature Nadine Noor, Jack Scollard and ELKKA, with Robson Carter-Browne and Solomon Thomson as moderators.
The wider programme also includes creative and educational sessions. teamLab’s Takashi Kudo will lead an interactive masterclass exploring art, science, technology and nature, while Ableton’s ‘Sounding The Archive’ workshop with patten and ANNA DISCLAIM will work with recordings from the British Library’s Bishop Sound Collection. A two-day foley soundtracking project with patten will also take place at A/Vstation.
Previously announced speakers and programmes include Moby, Oklou, The Avalanches and teamLab. Moby will appear virtually for an EarthPercent keynote on music and climate action, while Oklou will participate in Resident Advisor Exchange and The Avalanches will discuss their upcoming fourth album in a fireside chat. Richie Hawtin is no longer able to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
AVA London will also host AVA X SEANCHOÍCHE at Round Chapel on 24 September, with storytelling centred around the theme ‘Time’. The AVA Forum and delegate programme will bring together representatives from organisations including Bandcamp, Ableton, Resident Advisor, Association for Electronic Music, PRS for Music, British Council, Atlantic Records UK and Polydor Records.
Now in its ninth year, AVA London will take place across London from 24 to 26 September 2026. The event is expected to welcome more than 8,000 attendees across its conference and live music events. Further names and the full programme schedule will be announced in the lead-up to the event.
