A quiet claiming of femininity: POET-LAB presents ‘Inside the Lab’ at London Fashion Week

London based brand, POET-LAB focuses on a quiet but powerful shift: the moment a woman moves from adapting to expectations to owning her own narrative. ‘Inside the Lab’ reflects on the systems that shape women: socially, culturally and visually, and questions the idea of refinement as something imposed rather than chosen. Instead of rebellion, the collection proposes clarity, control and self-definition.
The silhouettes are precise and clean. Sensuality and Exposure have a strong deliberate presence. Inside the Lab is inspired by 90’s minimalism and stripped back 70’s silhouettes. The collection features column, slip, and tailored minimal silhouettes with elongated lines and bare shoulders. Details include asymmetry, off-shoulder cuts, open backs, restrained draping, and subtle hardware, emphasising intention over ornamentation. Crafted from repurposed deadstock fabrics, POET-LAB designs speak of resilience, inclusivity, and reinvention. The mood is one of quiet confidence, sensual control, and intellectual femininity.
A narrative of reclaiming identity and crafting femininity on your own terms is reflected not only through design but also through the show’s diverse casting. “Inclusivity-ethical, for me, is one word. Everyone can wear a Poet-Lab with no judgement of who can wear what.” says Founder and Creative Director Giuseppe Iaciofano.
