FABRIC x PLATTE Pop-up at BFW: “Four Days, Six Hamburg Labels, One Motto…”

“Built on Collaboration, Made in Hamburg.”

FABRIC – Future Fashion Lab Hamburg

What happens when collaboration becomes more valuable than competition?

During Berlin Fashion Week SS27, FABRIC and PLATTE answered that question by bringing six emerging Hamburg labels to Berlin under one shared vision: “Built on Collaboration, Made in Hamburg.”

From July 2 to 5, 2026, FABRIC presented, for the first time, a collective selection of its member labels at PLATTE Berlin, marking the first public appearance of the partnership between the two houses.

Two Houses, One Ecosystem in Motion

PLATTE Berlin is the curated retail and community platform located in Berlin-Mitte.

FABRIC – Future Fashion Lab Hamburg – is the “engine room” located in the city center of Hamburg, with 700 sqm. More than 30 independent designers and labels work across production, innovation and collaboration.

Together, it is not just the idea of collaboration. It turns that idea into the visibility of Hamburg’s fashion production at one of the capital’s leading fashion hubs—Berlin.

The key point is shared infrastructure, lived out publicly.

Six Signatures from Hamburg

The participating labels that were selected went through an open call among FABRIC’s member labels.
From Arabic-inspired aesthetics (ARJOS ANTON), to handmade pieces balancing workwear and high fashion (AVA), transformable silhouettes (CHASHO), raw, untreated materials (CRÛ ORIGINS), the craftsmanship made from deadstock patchwork (FREIKOERPER), and leatherwork of avant-garde art (LAURA CHLASS). All six designers were on-site for four days, speaking to press, buyers and public.

The pop-up was the first joint collaboration in public between two houses. The plan for the future includes making two pop-ups per year at each of the locations.
