Last Friday, on July 3, an outdoor runway was presented at Berlin Fashion Week, set among winding garden paths, blooming lilies, and lush summer greenery at Atelier Gardens.
Fresh graduates and nine fourth-semester students from LETTE’s Class of 2025/26 debuted their collections.
Right from the start, the statement here is clear – young designers are no longer perceived as “just students.” They are welcomed to shine on visible stages, presenting their work to an audience that takes their creativity and craftsmanship seriously.
At the same time, the collections are experimental, with silhouettes built around movement, presence, and performance.

The presentation started on a beautiful Atelier Gardens’ rooftop terrace, with an incredible panoramic view over Tempelhofer Feld. With that scenery, was demonstrated an industrial-yellow staircase in a very cinematic style that was leading to the garden, and then gathered on the plateau.
Additionally, the first model of each collection carried a flag holding the designer’s name. In the end, all nine flags were raised together on the stage:
“A strong image of authorship, visibility, and arrival…”
What is Platte presents?
PLATTE presents closes the gap.
Graduate designers often receive visibility. However, they rarely receive the same recognition as established labels. In fashion language – in front a relevant audience, in a format that doesn’t explain itself, but asserts itself.
PLATTE presents changes that logic:
“No mentoring as a consolation prize. No “promising” caveat. No waiting room.”
Instead, it offers real visibility, a real audience, and a Fashion Week stage that doesn’t make young designers feel smaller, but instead makes them feel bigger.
Fashion Week is often about celebrating established names. This presentation reminded us that making space for new voices can be just as powerful.
