His personal work mainly revolves around travel and the human body.
Initially, a designer, he has worked for several high-end fashion houses, including agnès b., CELINE, and Hermès. However, his passion for photography began during his teenage years and fully materialized later in life when his desire to return to capturing images became his truth.
Today, Lucas Sellier lends his eye and expertise to the fashion industry, the music industry, as well as the press and television, primarily in France and specifically in Paris.
His intention is always to depict the world in its true nature, and he continues to travel with the aim of using photography as a platform for his communication and his vision.
He presents to us a romantic punk look and strives to capture the essence of the “real” and the “authentic”.
Whether shooting on analog or digital, and most often in natural light, Lucas Sellier sets himself apart from those who seek to lead us into a dream-like state.
Instead, he willingly takes our hand and guides us towards encountering reality.
