KAROLINA DOMASZEWICZ

Why did you decide to open a modeling agency?

I decided to open a modeling agency in 2014 because I am passionate about discovering and nurturing talent while helping individuals achieve their dreams in the fashion industry. I wanted to create a platform that not only connects models with opportunities but also fosters personal growth and flourishing careers. Currently, I represent four models and a tattoo artist. My heart has always been drawn to artistic souls, which is why I don’t limit my work solely to the fashion industry.

What is your vision as a photographer?

My vision as a photographer is to capture authentic emotions and tell meaningful stories through my images. Photography, to me, is more than just taking pictures—it’s about preserving moments that convey deep feelings, individuality, and the beauty of everyday life. My goal is to create work that inspires and connects with people while preserving memories in a timeless and genuine way. Whether it’s capturing the essence of a person, the atmosphere of a place, or the energy of a fleeting moment, I strive for my photography to evoke a sense of connection and leave a lasting impact.

What is your background?

My background is rooted in creativity and a passion for visual storytelling. Over the years, I’ve developed my skills through hands-on experience, constantly learning and evolving in my craft. I’ve worked on diverse projects that have refined my artistic vision and allowed me to connect with inspiring individuals. Additionally, I hold certifications in Visual Merchandising, Window Display Styling, and Fashion Styling.

How do you see the future of what you do?

I see the future of my work as an exciting journey of growth, exploration, and innovation. I plan to keep refining my craft, experimenting with new techniques, and embracing emerging trends and technologies that enhance creativity. The world of art and storytelling is constantly evolving, and I aim to stay at the forefront of these changes by pushing creative boundaries and finding fresh ways to connect with people. My goal is to reach a broader audience, collaborate with inspiring individuals, and create work that resonates emotionally while leaving a lasting impression. Ultimately, I want to use my skills to inspire, uplift, and bring meaningful stories to life in ways that are both timeless and forward-thinking.

When did you start modeling?

I don’t remember the exact date, but I believe I started taking modeling more seriously around the end of November 2023.

What was your first modeling experience?

I remember my first-ever photoshoot was in June 2023. After that, I did, I think, two more shoots, but then the process stopped for a while. This was mainly because I didn’t see myself doing it professionally at the time—I was just testing myself to see how I would adapt to being on the other side of the camera.

Things changed unexpectedly when my current manager, Karolina Domasiewicz, discovered me and offered me the opportunity to work with her. I’m truly grateful for that.

What is your dream modeling gig?

At the moment, I would love to appear in more recognizable magazines and work on photoshoots for clothing or jewelry brands.

What are your favorite things to do?

Lately, I’ve had more time to read, and I’ve gotten really into psychology and self-improvement books. I also love dancing—I’ve been learning hip-hop for about three years now. When I’m feeling stressed, I usually play the piano. These are some of my favorite things to do.

Who is your favorite photographer, either online or in real life?

Definitely Dorota Szulc. I discovered her work two years ago, and I’ve been amazed by it ever since. She has this incredible way of capturing moments—so vulnerable, yet natural and flawless. I also really admire Greg Williams. I love how he photographs people, especially during fancy, prestigious events.

When did you start tattooing?

I’ve been passionate about body art for as long as I can remember. I began tattooing professionally in 2018.

What was your first experience?

I did my first tattoo at home when I was seventeen, on my then-boyfriend. The design featured playing cards and dice. While it wasn’t perfect, it was a fascinating experience that sparked my journey into tattooing.

The first tattoo I received was for my eighteenth birthday. It was done in a studio and is located on my back. The design features a human ribcage intertwined with a floral motif.

What is your dream gig?

Creating a surrealist portrait with an abstract composition in the background on a large canvas—like a full back, thigh, stomach, or a complete sleeve—would be my dream project.

What are your favorite things to do?

I love tattooing botanical motifs, abstract designs, and portraits. I aim to blend different styles and techniques to carve out my own unique artistic path.

Who are your favorite tattoo artists you’ve discovered online or in real life?

I’m constantly discovering new artists who inspire and energize my work. I deeply admire the diversity of styles and techniques in tattooing, making it hard to name just one or a few. I try to draw inspiration from various trends, adopting elements that align with my artistic vision while staying open to new possibilities. What I value most is observing how different artists interpret the same subject through drastically different stylistic lenses.

When did you start modeling?

I started modeling in August, just a few months ago. Modeling had been a dream of mine since childhood, but during my teenage years, it faded to the back of my mind. Now, I’m reconnecting with that dream and fulfilling the aspirations of my inner child.

What was your first modeling experience?

My first modeling experience was a photoshoot in a forest. It was cheerful yet calming to work in such a serene environment. Being surrounded by nature felt like being at home. During the shoot, I stood in a nearby lake, getting my legs wet and cold, but it was absolutely worth it. I also found a great connection with the photographer, making the experience both pleasurable and exciting.

What is your dream modeling gig?

I’d love to do a photoshoot for a high-quality clothing brand in the heart of a desert with breathtaking views. I imagine it being inspired by Dune and Star Wars, with a post-apocalyptic touch. Another dream of mine is to model for Alice Auaa—a designer whose work perfectly matches my alter-ego.

What are your favorite things to do?

I love doing things that bring fulfillment to my soul. Being in nature is one of the most important aspects of my life. I also deeply value honest relationships and spending quality time with loved ones, whether it’s hiking, lighting a campfire, or organizing board game nights.

I spend a lot of time on my own as well—journaling, crocheting, or meditating. These activities help reset my mind in a calm and nurturing way. Additionally, I enjoy caring for my body through yoga, eating whole organic foods, and practicing face massages.

Who is your favorite photographer you’ve discovered online or in real life?

My favorite photographer is @la_venda_art on Instagram. She captures feminine beauty in a way that feels divine yet innocent, like stepping into a magical fairy tale. I highly recommend checking out her work.
