Yuji Watanabe’s artistic journey as a film photographer started during his time when he was studying photography at Manhattanville College from 2008-2009. While Studying Yuji Watanabe started to gain experience in the field by serving as a Photographer assistant throw out his studies.
Upon returning to the Japanese capital in 2009 to complete his university education he started out his professional career and later he moved on to the French Capital, Paris where he moved in June 2012, Drawing by the allure of artistic exploration, Today Yuji Watanabe is still present in both capitals but he is not restricted by it since he showcases his work in many international projects some of the countries he made an appearance in are: Germany, Kazakhstan and Malaysia.
Yuji’s film photography transforms into a magical gateway tracing the intricate threads of ancient Japanese folklore merging with contemporary society. This captivating interplay constructs a narrative that evokes a profound curiosity in viewers to delve deep into the very essence of cultural heritage and the boundless avenues of artistic expression.
