The highly anticipated collection was a call to action urging against the careless vitriol of the internet.
Kilian Kerner presented the collection on day one of Berlin Fashion Week to a rapt audience.

Through carefully constructed designs, Kilian Kerner exposed the impact of internet hate and encouraged a positive shift in the way we connect virtually.
His collection reminded the audience of their capacity and their responsibility to use the tools at their disposal for good.

Oversized suits and overcoats suggested the larger than life internet personas that people take on behind the keyboard. Now, exposed to the audience and forced to see the faces behind the screen, the garments swallowed the models.
Texture was one of the most important factors in the collection, used to embody the darkness and drama within every corner of the web.

Yet within that darkness, there is room for something better. The collection used florals and pops of color to suggest the potential for good through the same virtual vessel that causes so much harm.

The collection recognized the need for strength and survival in a world held captive by the internet. Disorienting patterns acknowledged our desire to hide within the internet. But other brighter pieces urged us to soften and empathize with the reality around us.

The collection was fluid, each piece effortlessly fitting within the designer’s narrative.
The collection mixed both evening-wear and casual looks to emphasize how the internet seeps into every aspect of modern life.
Kilian Kerner produces in Poland and is committed to using vegan fabrics, proving that the brand’s ethical conscience expands beyond just the virtual. The focus on sustainability and ethical manufacturing shows a respect for the world in which he creates, in addition to the humans for whom he designs.

The collection was a strong addition to the brand, with narrative, purpose, responsbility, and elegance coming together on the runway.
