Sia Arnika Introduces Evocative AW25 Collection at Berlin Fashion Week

On day one of Fashion Week 2025, Berlin label Sia Arnika presented its AW25/26 collection in appreciation of the designer’s roots.

The collection was an homage to designer Sia Arnika’s birthplace in Denmark. Her inspiration revolved around the “Harbor Bitch”, a mystical factory worker from the island of Mors. The collection was referential to the designer’s home and upbringing, but each piece felt fresh.

Models donned the brand’s signature subversive cut-outs and angular silhouettes, but mixed them with more rustic elements. True to the season, these came in fuzzy textures, tartan, and puff-sleeve-puffers. In a callback to the printed “The People Want More” garments from SS25, this season, Sia Arnika confessed “I’ve Seen it All, All For Nothing”.

In footwear, Sia Arnika collaborated with Nike to create sleek, low sneakers. Modernized variations of the classic Danish work clog with thick, hooked platforms followed close behind.

The brand seemed to toy with its recent commercial success after a high-profile summer. Anti-trend pieces like red skinny jeans and bodysuit hoodies defiantly made their way down the runway.

The collection was sexy and strong, playing with narrative to cross between high fashion reality and mythical fantasy.
