The surrealist brand brought structure, color, and character to its AW25/26 show on Saturday of Berlin Fashion Week.
SVEASØN is designer Svea Beckedorf’s label that creates beyond the human form. This season through imagination, structure, and sustainability, the designer released her playful characters onto the runway. The collection was inspired by Molybdomancy, an ancient divination technique of creating and interpreting ambiguous shapes from molten metals. The collection was a celebration of fluidity and divination, marked by a runway that showcased power of change through playful movement.
On principle, gender does not concern SVEASØN, and they regularly leave traditional silhouettes behind. Reflective trousers billowed at the knee and encircled the waist, while towering metallic creatures surrounded the models, encouraging these forms.

Self-expression was on full display. In this city of black fabric, Beckedorf brought color, shimmer, and notably, tye-dye.
Sculptural footwear and layered tartan evoked memories of folklore, further guiding the audience from the confines of modern society.

The clothes are designed for play, with water resistant fabrics and utilitarian pockets.
Adjustable baggy garments came with cinch cords and ruching, while deadstock fabrics, GOTS-certified textiles, and sustainable Thermore padding further proved commitment to sustainability.

Models danced freely on the runway, a plea to spectators to find liberation through fashion rather than comformity.
With this imaginative, interactive collection, SVEASØN demonstrates its ability to construct playful, utilitarian garments that exceed societal preconceptions of fashion.
