We met Marina & Amelia represented by Towanda Models – Barcelona based model agency and had a mini shoot & interview with our in-house photographers @keyistudio .
Marina is a Paris-based model who we discovered during a recent trip to Barcelona, where she was temporarily staying for some job-related opportunities. With a unique style and a natural presence in front of the camera, we had a little chat about her path in modelling & more.

Marina Miró from Towanda Models
• How have you been discovered by Towada Modelling Agency?
I actually reached out to them myself—and they liked my look, so I got signed! It was such a great feeling to take that step on my own and have it pay off.
• How did you get into modelling?
At first, I never expected modeling to turn into a full-time job—the idea of being a model honestly never even crossed my mind. It just didn’t seem like something that was meant for me. But one day, my mom suggested I give it a try and apply to an agency. I was hesitant, but I trusted her instinct and went for it. And now… here I am. It’s crazy to look back and realize how that one little push completely changed the direction of my life.
• What’s your dream achievement as a model?
It would definitely be amazing to work with those big brands that everyone dreams about, but for me, it’s not just about the fame or the recognition. What really matters is working with brands that align with my own ethics and style. Being part of something that feels authentic and true to who I am would be more than enough for me.
• Can you mention few favourite fashion / art / music related locations in your city & why you like them?
Now, I’m currently living in Paris, and I’m loving all the style inspiration the city has to offer. Le Marais, in particular, is a treasure trove of vintage and fashion boutiques—it’s one of my favorite areas to explore. I also really like Citadium for everyday clothes. It has such a great mix of casual pieces that are still fashionable and unique.

Amélia from Towanda Models
Before signing with an agency, Amélia began exploring modeling through social media. Soon after, Towanda flew her out to Barcelona for a three-week stay packed with creative shoots and career-defining opportunities. Based in Berlin, she finds daily inspiration just by walking around her city, however we met in Barcelona when we had a little nice chat and few portraits of her.
• How have you been discovered by Towanda Modelling Agency?
I was discovered through my mother agency in Berlin, which recognized my potential early on and played an important role in launching my career. Through their strong network and guidance, I was connected to Towanda Modelling Agency in Barcelona. This partnership opened the door to exciting opportunities, which are allowing me to grow professionally while working with diverse creative teams.
• How did you get into modelling?
Many photographers started reaching out to me on Instagram, and that’s how I began doing test shoots and building my portfolio. Over time, I gained experience and developed a deeper passion for modeling. A few years later, I decided to take the next step and applied to the agency I’m now signed with—and to my excitement, they wanted to represent me!
• What’s your dream achievement as a model?
Of course, landing big campaigns is a goal for most models—including me—but I truly believe that having the right team behind you is even more important. Having bookers who genuinely believe in you and support your growth makes all the difference—and I’m grateful to say I’ve already found that!
• What‘s your story with living in Barcelona?
Towanda flew me in to work for them in Barcelona, and I ended up staying for three weeks. It was such an exciting experience—getting to work in a new city, meet amazing creatives, and really dive into the industry. It definitely helped me grow both professionally and personally.
• Can you mention few favourite fashion / art / music related locations in your city & why you like them?
There are so many cool spots around Berlin, but honestly, one of my favorite things to do is just go out and see all the cute outfits other girls are wearing—it’s such a big source of inspiration for me. I think Kreuzberg is definitely the most fashionable area in Berlin, especially around Maybachufer or Bergmannkiez. The street style there is always creative and full of personality.
