Analogue’s 15th release comes from label head Jerm with a powerful solo EP titled Breaking the Static. Known for its raw and focused sound, this EP features four original techno cuts designed to deliver maximum impact on the dance floor.
The EP is set for official release on October 17, 2025, showcasing Jerm’s signature direct and driving techno style.
We are excited to premiere “Breakage” (A2) — a driving, no-nonsense techno track that captures the raw, floor-focused energy at the heart of the EP. This track perfectly embodies the intense and focused vibe of Jerm’s latest work.
The record is divided into two sides, each featuring tightly crafted techno cuts:
- A1 – Bullet Points
- A2 – Breakage
- B1 – Killswitch
- B2 – Nippy
Each track stands out individually, yet together they form a cohesive sonic narrative reflecting the energy and clarity Jerm brings to his production and curation.
The EP was mastered by Carlos Koschitzky, with lacquers cut by Simon at The Exchange — a name synonymous with high-quality vinyl mastering. Visual direction comes from Hellopanos, whose artwork complements the record’s stark and impactful tone.
With Breaking the Static, Jerm continues to define Analogue’s identity — forward-looking, club-functional, and uncompromising in sound.
