Returning to Rant & Rave with a More Refined Purpose
Following last year’s 2.0 EP, which marked a pivotal shift, MAEDON returns to her own label, Rant & Rave. Set for release on November 25th, 2025 under catalog number RAR010, her new EP Matter & Form distills and evolves the intentions of her previous work into a bolder, more polished sound.
The EP features four versions titled ‘Entelechy I–IV’, each meticulously exploring the interplay between rhythm, structure, and texture. Alongside these, an equally compelling remix by Lady Starlight and a contrasting reinterpretation of the opening track, ‘Entelechy I (Bent Mix)’, crafted by MAEDON herself, broaden the conceptual scope of the release.
The Depth and Tension of ‘Entelechy IV (Original Mix)’
The newly premiered ‘Entelechy IV (Original Mix)’ is a powerful closing track that intertwines precisely tuned percussion with persistent basslines against a backdrop of deep low-end and controlled atonal aggression. It stands as a definitive moment showcasing MAEDON’s matured sense of rhythm and production.
Ahead of the premiere, MAEDON graced the lineup of the Keyi Magazine x Noetic ADE showcase on October 23rd, 2025, held at the What Is Happening Here Gallery in Amsterdam. Alongside Lady Starlight and David Castellani, the event offered a unique opportunity to experience MAEDON’s new sound live.
