RELIEF IN BUNKER – hybrid exhibition and showroom with DENDYDEN × KOJAIKOSTI

Where Art, Fashion, and Sculpture Meet

This July, Bunker West in Berlin will host RELIEF IN BUNKER, a hybrid exhibition and showroom by artist DENDYDEN (Denis Kochetygov) and designer KOJAIKOSTI (Sofiia Smirnova). Taking place from July 9 to 12, the event brings together neo-surrealist paintings, sculptural objects, and wearable art in a unique industrial setting.

The four-day exhibition marks the first collaboration between the two creatives. Through their different artistic backgrounds, they explore how surfaces, objects, and the human body can transform and interact with one another.

About The Project

RELIEF IN BUNKER grew from an ongoing creative dialogue between the two artists. While DENDYDEN worked with painting and visual illusion, KOJAIKOSTI focused on creating sculptural forms from flat patterns. Over time, both practices expanded into three-dimensional work.

As a result, the artists began creating collaborative wearable pieces that combine art, sculpture, and fashion. In these works, the body becomes part of the artwork itself.

The exhibition functions as both a gallery and a showroom. Visitors can explore paintings, sculptures, and wearable designs in one shared space. Selected pieces will also be available for purchase or commission.

DENDYDEN: From Street Art to Sculptural Forms

DENDYDEN, the artistic name of Denis Kochetygov, is a street and 3D artist working across painting, murals, and sculpture. His neo-surrealist works often play with volume, perspective, and visual illusion.

For RELIEF IN BUNKER, he presents a selection of oil paintings and 3D-printed sculptures. Together, these works reflect his interest in transforming flat images into physical forms and exploring the relationship between two-dimensional and three-dimensional space.

KOJAIKOSTI: Fashion as Sculpture

Designer Sofiia Smirnova, founder of the fetish glamour label KOJAIKOSTI, approaches fashion as a sculptural medium. Her work examines the relationship between the body, material, and structure, creating pieces that exist somewhere between clothing and contemporary art.

Through structural garments and wearable sculptures, Smirnova transforms fashion into an artistic statement, challenging traditional ideas of dress and functionality. Her contributions to RELIEF IN BUNKER continue this exploration, placing the body at the centre of the creative process.

A Dialogue Between Disciplines

At the centre of RELIEF IN BUNKER is the collaboration between the two artists. Their joint wearable works combine sculptural design with visual art, creating pieces that neither artist could have developed alone.

Set inside the raw concrete space of Bunker West, the exhibition offers visitors a chance to experience art, fashion, and sculpture from a new perspective. The result is an immersive environment where surfaces expand into space and the body becomes a moving relief.

RELIEF IN BUNKER will take place from July 9–12, 2026, at Bunker West in Berlin. Admission is free.
