On August 29, 2026, Frega Festival returns to Labirinto della Masone. This year’s lineup announcement already reflects a clear direction for the project.

With Nina Kraviz at the center of the announcement, alongside Alarico, Blind Date, Gabriele Capponi, Mattia Koväl, Philippa Pacho, Pre Silent (live), Rorschack and LPV, the 2026 selection goes beyond a simple list of artists. It reflects a group of contributors who share the same sensitivity and understanding of the project.

The 2026 lineup as a reflection of where Frega Festival stands and where it is heading
Frega Festival is not a conventional, repeatable event, but rather an evolving process that accumulates meaning over time. The 2026 lineup sits within this ongoing trajectory. Each artist is an individual presence, yet all are connected through a shared framework built around accessibility, experimentation, and collective intention.

In this sense, the lineup announcement is not a final statement, but a snapshot of where the project currently stands and how far it has expanded.

Artists extending their role beyond performance into responsibility and active participation
At Frega Festival, artists are not treated as performers alone. From the beginning, the project has been shaped by the idea of artists as active participants within a broader ecosystem.
Starting with Freddy K, this approach gradually evolved through the support of Enrico Sangiuliano, who helped make possible a music therapy program even without performing at the festival. From there, the role of artists naturally expanded into multiple forms of contribution beyond the stage itself.
This shift reflects a broader mindset within the project, where process, responsibility, and collective input matter as much as performance.

From Frega Festival to Dance Floor Sensibile, a continuous expansion of experimentation and access
This initiative extends beyond the festival itself. The Dance Floor Sensibile conference hosted by Noise Orchestra at FOLD represents one of these extensions. Together with artists such as Stanislav Tolkachev, it has become a space to test and explore accessibility within club culture.
The conversation has also reached a broader international stage through presentations at Amsterdam Dance Event, further expanding the dialogue around inclusivity in nightlife environments.

Within this wider ecosystem, Frega Festival continues to grow. In 2025, the project hosted more than 200 people with disabilities in a carefully designed accessible environment. In 2026, this work has been further developed through an expanded welfare team, improved and more awareness-focused security staff, upgraded transport and accommodation logistics, and a more structured video and documentation team. The spatial design continues to evolve as well, remaining undisclosed until the event itself.
Frega Festival does not position itself as a finished or expert-led model. Instead, it remains an ongoing process shaped through trial, feedback, and collective participation. Every step so far has been the result of shared effort between the community, the artists, and everyone involved in the project.

Frega Festival 2026 is not an endpoint, but another stage in a continuing process. It remains open to both audiences and artists, evolving through participation rather than definition, and continuing to ask questions rather than provide conclusions.
