CHANEL MÉTIERS D’ART 2026
For his first Métiers d’art collection at Chanel, creative director Matthieu Blazy trades the traditional atelier backdrop for the restless energy of Manhattan.
Captured by renowned photographer Craig McDean and accompanied by a film directed by Rahim Fortune.
The Métiers d’art 2026 campaign unfolds across iconic New York settings – from bustling diner kitchens and comic-filled newsstands to the Hudson River waterfront.

The collection marks a new chapter for Chanel’s celebrated Métiers d’art line. It showcases the craftsmanship of the House’s specialist artisan ateliers.
Rather than isolating this savoir-faire in a rarefied luxury environment, Blazy places it directly within the rhythm of everyday city life. The result is a powerful dialogue between exceptional craftsmanship and urban reality.

Bold silhouettes define the collection. Feather-trimmed leopard-print skirts, shimmering tiger-stripe dresses, voluminous tartans, quilted camel coats, sequins, plaids, and graphic knits. They create a confident visual language that feels unapologetically modern.

A Superman sweater layered beneath tailored plaid encapsulates Blazy’s playful yet precise approach, balancing heritage craftsmanship with contemporary cultural references.

Featuring models including Anok Yai, Julia Nobis, and Anne Vyalitsyna, the campaign celebrates movement & individuality. The idea of luxury as something lived rather than displayed.
Instead of asking the world to stop and admire it, Chanel’s craftsmanship moves confidently through it.

With Métiers d’art 2026, Blazy reimagines the role of luxury today. The collection rejects quiet restraint in favor of what could be described as “loud precision”. The extraordinary craftsmanship designed for everyday life.

In New York, Chanel’s artisanal heritage doesn’t merely survive the city’s intensity; it thrives within it.
