Eliza Kania is a 19-year-old photography student at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, who came across her father’s old camera 3 years ago and has been inseparable from it ever since.
Due to her past in activism, she knows what it means to scream and not be heard, which is why she wants her art to touch on unheard stories and give a voice to those who are not being listened to.
She is interested in everything that happens around people, and because we are complex creatures, the topics are endless for her. Her photography started with people and she claims that it will always be around them.
Eliza is a sensitive person who easily connects with people and their stories. In her photographs, she constructs the world with an emphasis on issues that are important to her and others, in order to show the world as she sees it.
