Title Track Premieres Today via Power Station – Full EP Out June 10
“Livewire” Marks a Rebirth for Kris Baha
Livewire is the beginning of a new chapter for Kris Baha — a three-track EP that ignites with energy, tension, and transformation. Premiering today, the title track Livewire leads the charge with a shape-shifting journey of tribal-psy trance rhythms, techno breaks, and late-‘90s rave textures, reimagined for now. It’s a bold statement: wired, alive, and pulsing with transmissions from another dimension.
Psychedelic, Progressive, and Emotionally Charged
Opening like a lost Crystal Method cut, Livewire quickly mutates into a multi-layered rave dream. Kris Baha’s vocals — “Flowers of Steel & Crystal” — echo through the haze, setting the tone for a sonic transformation. The track unravels into liquid basslines, dusty leads, and a powerful closing mantra: “There’s a livewire through you.” It’s music that moves the body and speaks to the inner self.

More Than Nostalgia: A Reimagining of the Rave Spirit
While Livewire nods to legends like The Prodigy, Underworld, Fluke, and Lunatic Calm, this isn’t nostalgia. It’s a reawakening. Livewire channels the chaos and euphoria of the ‘90s rave scene — think Hackers OST energy — and filters it through Kris Baha’s evolved sonic lens. The result is raw, cinematic, and electrifying.

EP Highlights: “Kiss of Life” and “The Phase”
The full release, landing June 10 via Power Station, includes two additional tracks:
Kiss of Life: A hazy tribute to early progressive trance and acid house, with distorted vocals and flickers of dancefloors past.
The Phase: A hypnotic, dirt-kicking closer that spirals deep into groove territory, anchored by a familiar yet unexpected lead.
