Fragmentor’s Tokyo Techno City EP, released May 16, 2025 via Planet Rhythm, is a straight-to-the-core, rhythmically focused collection that doesn’t rely on concept or narrative—just pure, high-functioning techno. Across five tracks, the EP delivers driving grooves, tonal density, and a commitment to tension and release that will resonate with late-night DJs and heads alike.
The title track, “Tokyo Techno City,” opens with mechanical percussion and grinding synth cycles, accompanied by a smooth acid bassline that adds flowing texture. Fragmentor is an Italian DJ and producer who emerged in the electronic music scene under this alias in 2014.
His signature style features dark, powerful, and edgy techno that has gained recognition in major clubs across Europe and Asia, including Berlin’s //about blank and Tokyo’s Vent.
