Tatt’s Duo Exhibition “Die Wilde Blüte”, with Dominican artist Gabriela Rubagotti is launching on November 30th at Galerie Sara Lily Perez. It will be on display until January 25th 2025.
From a nomadic life in a caravan across the United States to the complex art scene of Berlin, Kyte Tatt draws upon his experiences working in the fields, engaging with small artistic communities, and embracing the concept of a wandering lifestyle. His paintings encapsulate the spirit of untamed nature — wild, unpredictable, and often misunderstood — presented through an aesthetic that reflects both the freedom and the challenges of such a way of life.
Tatt reflects that during his nomadic journey, there wasn’t a clearly defined final destination. However, he now sees how every experience along the way has brought him to where he is today. These varied encounters not only served as inspiration but also equipped him to convey, through his art, the contrasts between the vastness of nature and the complexities of the human world, creating works that connect viewers to a profound sense of wonder and respect for the natural world.

“I drew all my inspiration from my experiences and my living in the countryside and traveling. And these metaphors would just kind of come up to the surface for me. And that said, a lot of my work informed what I’m doing.”
