Marlon Ferry Brings Sustainable Couture to Berlin Fashion Week

Innovative Berlin designer, Marlon Ferry, prepares to showcase his latest collection at Berlin Fashion Week. The label creates experimental couture, or recently, cyber couture. His work comes together as an amalgamation of technology and haute couture.

Marlon Ferry is a deeply inventive, creative brand. From 3D-printed sculptures to couture-grade textiles, Ferry is merging wildly different worlds into one. Technology and fashion compliment each other within the label’s innovative designs. The creative process behind the garments goes from traditionally handmade work, to 3D printing and AI-assisted fashion.

The brand’s debut, Artifacts of Uncertain Transformation, was a presentation of dominantly red and black garments featuring sculptural cyber-celestial motifs. Marlon Ferry incorporates these scuptural motifs– which are made of recycled PETG and 3D-printed from fashion industry packaging waste– into many of its pieces.

Marlon Ferry succeeds in merging current technology with traditional couture techniques, creating a bridge between modernity and timelessness. By bringing elements of sustainability into his designs, he argues that not all modern technology means negative environmental impact.

Marlon Ferry’s highly anticipated couture show this week promises to be a continuation of his stunning debut collection, further showcasing the label’s fusion of technology and fashion.
