A pioneer of the Wave and Italo resurgence, Curses returns under the Tutto Vetro alias with his new EP Trust The Beat, set for release on November 21, 2025, via Wrong Era.
Curses unveils his new Tutto Vetro EP Trust The Beat, marking another step forward in the Wave and Italo resurgence under Wrong Era. The centerpiece track, âWild Things,â revisits the raw, emotional energy of early underground club music from late â80s and early â90s Valencia, Frankfurt, and New York, reinterpreted for todayâs audience.
Ombra International founder Venezia builds the arcane energy with haunting vocals and metallic highs, while Slow Motion label head and innovator Fabrizio Mammarella reinterprets âWild Things,â infusing it with liquefying melodies and unique percussive energy.
Together, they bring the fusion of trance, post-EBM, and Detroit techno from the early club scene vividly to life.

Trust The Beat showcases Tutto Vetroâs cinematic body music sensibilities and innovative sonic approaches, offering listeners a deeper look into his ever-evolving musical world.
âWild Thingsâ is released as part of the EP on November 21, 2025, via Wrong Era.

What inspired you to create the EP âTrust The Beatâ?
After releasing a very band focused album and touring w the live show, I had the urge to return to a more club focused EP and tap into my love for the late 80âs and early 90âs electronic sound of Valencia, Frankfurt, NYC and Detroit. This particular EP is heavily influenced by Artists like Interfront, Umo Detic, Robotico Rejekto, music that I always incorporate in DJ sets.

How does the original âWild Thingsâ and its remix differ in the worlds or moods they create?
The original is very electro-spiked. Dissonant synths, heavy 808 drums, I probably pulled from my young days listening to groups like Drexciya and even Auetchre, who knows! Fabrizio took things to a more 4×4 banger route, which slaps heavy!
