Gashouder has concluded its pre-opening season in Amsterdam, marking an important step in its transition towards becoming an independent cultural venue.
During Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the venue hosted five days of programming from October 21 to 25, welcoming more than 35,000 visitors across 10 shows and bringing together 37 artists from different corners of electronic music and beyond.
The programme reflected the venue’s intention to explore different forms of music and performance. Highlights included a collaboration between Het Nationale Ballet and ISH Dance Collective, which presented Swan Lake Remixed, as well as the first B2B set between Armin van Buuren and Benwal.
Job Jobse also delivered his biggest headline show at ADE, while MOCHAKK brought his eclectic sound to the venue. Other notable appearances included performances by Eric Prydz, I Hate Models and Nico Moreno, Franky Rizardo, Sammy Virji and Josh Baker.
Following this pre-opening season, Gashouder is preparing for its next chapter as an independent cultural venue. Its official opening is set to take place over the following weekend, with Mula B performing on Friday and The Opposites scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
The venue has also announced several events for the end of 2026, including performances by KETTAMA and Chris Stussy, alongside a New Year’s Eve show featuring 999999999 and Charlie Sparks.
With its pre-opening programme now complete, Gashouder is moving towards a new phase, continuing to build its identity as a space for music, performance and cultural experiences in Amsterdam.
